On behalf of National Taxpayers Union (NTU), I thank the Senate Committee on Finance for the opportunity to submit comments regarding the most critical economic issue facing our nation: reforming America’s tax laws.
For nearly five decades, NTU has advocated on behalf of taxpayers in Washington and in state capitals across the country. We were pleased to play a role in the tax reform process in the 1980s that eventually led to the passage of the Tax Reform Act of 1986.
